Our certificate programs' content and materials are provided by Gatlin Education Services. These programs prepare students for developing expertise in their desired career field and/or prepare for industry certification exams. Although each course is self-study, each online course has an instructor assigned to facilitate student questions and problems. Each program has specific learning outcomes related to industry standards.

Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding Hours 300 Price- $1995
The Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding (AMC/MBC) Program includes extensive medical insurance billing and coding modules as well as modules detailing all of the other administrative tasks performed in a typical medical office, including appointment scheduling; patient check-in, registration, and check-out; accounts receivable and payable management; bookkeeping; office management, and many more.
Gatlin Education Services has also partnered with National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to register and prepare students for skills certification in two areas. Included in the tuition for AMS/MBC is a voucher for a study guide and preparation course, and the registration fee for the dual CMAA/CBCS (Certified Medical Administrative Assistant/Certified Billing and Coding Specialist) certification credential.

We've updated the Medical Transcription online program to reflect the latest industry standards and added various interactive elements to better engage students. In addition to these enhancements, we have also created over 50 interactive audio exercises that give students extra hands-on transcribing practice. These audio activities enable students to get more practice as they learn to transcribe medical reports that simulate real-world cases with varying speed and dialects in the dictations. Students can check their work immediately, which provides multiple opportunities to practice transcribing before they submit full reports for instructor grading.
