Learning Technology Support

Learning Technology Support

Innovative teaching is not about technology, it's about effective teaching strategies that may employ technology to meet a specific need. Whether you teach online or on campus, our Learning Technology Support team can help you find the right tools to support your teaching strategies.

Our team is part of the U of A's faculty and student support network. Our partners include IT Services and the Teaching and Faculty Support Center, just to name a few. How can we help you?

Office Calls for Faculty

Sometimes a phone call is not enough. We will come to your office to tackle issues that demand hands-on attention.

Personal Assistance with Blackboard Learn

Having trouble connecting with digital course content, finding the right application, or moving grades to UAConnect? Did your syllabus disappear? Our academic technologists can help.

Student Engagement via Technology

Technology works best when paired with a teaching strategy. You describe what you want to do, we will suggest technology solutions.

For example, we help faculty and students use clickers to enhance large-group discussions in face-to-face classrooms. We also set up discussion boards and other interactive tools in online classrooms.

Tech Check-Up Services

Watch for our tables in the Arkansas Union and the Library at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters. Send your students for help with email, UA Connect, UARK Wi-Fi, Blackboard Learn, classroom clickers, printing on campus, and all things tech.
